Creditable Contribution. – The officers and employees of the C. S. Armory in this city, yesterday contributed $410.40 towards furnishing the destitute soldiers of Jackson's corps with clothing and shoes. Major Downer, the Superintendent, headed the list of subscribers with $50, whereupon Mr. Adams, the Master Armorer, put down another $50. The remainder was contributed in sums varying from fifty cents to $10, according to the ability or liberality of the donors.
