Death of a Soldier. – A North Carolina soldier named Jackson Triplett, belonging to the 54th regiment from that State, and who was sent from Camp Holmes, in that State, to be returned to his company, died at Castle Thunder, on Monday, of typhoid pneumonia. We understand that on Sunday night one of the sentinels at Camp Lee came to his death by exposure to the excessive cold that prevailed on that occasion.
