Accident. – One of the prisoners confined in the Military Station of the Western District, corner of 6th and Cary streets, named Charles Bernard, belonging to the 15th Louisiana regiment, undertook Monday night to liberate himself by means of a blanket from the third story window. When a few feet of the descent had been accomplished, the rope broke, and the man fell, receiving, it is said, mortal injury. He was alive last evening.
