Bogus Money. – A man named William A. White, dressed in the garb of a soldier, was arrested on Tuesday by Detective Boyd, of the Provost Marshal's office, and confined in Castle Thunder, on suspicion of passing a $100 counterfeit note on the Bank of Mobile. After his arrest, a $100 and a $50 note, both on the Manufacturers' and Mechanics' Bank of Columbus, Ga., were found on his person. The plates of the above notes purported to be printed in New York, and were gotten up in good style. The signatures were indifferent.
