Escaped. – A man calling himself Lacy, who had been imprisoned in the county jail, under the name of Ludson, on several occasions, for various offences, made his escape from Castle Godwin yesterday evening by dressing himself in holiday attire and passing a green sentinel at the front entrance, who thought he was an officer. Search was made for the missing man up to a late hour, but without any result. The party who assisted him in escaping, a member of the Caskie Rangers, confined for horse stealing, was ironed.
