THE PAMUNKY INDIANS.
We learn that the Yankees, while operating on line of the Pamunky and Chickahominy rivers, received much assistance and information from the Indian tribe in King William, who are familiar with every inch of the country, and therefore expert guides. They still occupy their old settlement, and have not been called to account for their proceedings.
