A hole was picked through the wall of Castle Godwin, Thursday night, and one of the prisoners attempted to escape, but as he fell from the aperture, he dropped into the arms of a humane sentinel, who had been watching for him, who very kindly but firmly lodged him in his old quarters, with irons on his arms and legs.
