From the Richmond Dispatch, 4/16/1866, p. 1, c. 4
FIRE. – The alarm of fire sounded last Friday night at about ten or eleven o’clock was caused by the burning of an old frame building on the outskirts of Chimborazo. The Fire Brigade was on the spot in good time; but owing to the great distance, and the absence of facilities for obtaining water, no great assistance could be given.
