MEETING OF FREEDMEN – PREPARATIONS FOR CELEBRATING THE ANNIVERSARY OF THE EVACUATION OF RICHMOND. – A meeting of the freedmen of Richmond was held at the Second African Church on Monday night for the purpose of discussing propositions for the celebration of the 3d day of April next as the first anniversary of the evacuation of Richmond and of its occupation by the Federal troops. Among other things, the propriety of impressing all the hacks in the city, in order to give “weight” to the celebration, was fully discussed.
