THREE HUNDRED ACRES OF GOOD LAND FOR SALE. – Having more LAND than I can judiciously cultivate, I will offer at public auction, on the premises, on TUESDAY, 31st of August next, at 12 o’clock, THREE HUNDRED ACRES OF VALUABLE LAND, situated in the county of Henrico, eight miles below Richmond, on the Varina road one and a half miles from James river, in TWO TRACTS – 150 on the east of the road and 150 on the west of said road. The tract on the east of the road, called “Clopton’s” is admirably adapted for trucking; it has a small house with three rooms; corn-house, and stable. About 20 acres in original and second growth; the soil is mulatto or chocolate surface, with red clay sub-soil, the effects of manure showing for ten years or more; is susceptible of the highest fertility. The other 150 acres, on the west of the road, is a part of LEVEL TRACT; adjoins Fort Harrison; 100 acres cleared; adapted to wheat, hay, and oats; 50 in second growth woods; 30 acres of this land is rich bottom, of very durable soil.
