From the Richmond Dispatch, 8/4/1868
THE LIBBY GIVEN UP. – The Libby will be abandoned as a military prison to-day, and the troops will go into quarters at Elba Park, which has been secured for that purpose.
The military prisoners, as we have before stated, have been sent to their various camps to serve out their terms, and the United States Marshal has been notified to take charge of the civilians who were confined there.
