4/18/1864 3/5/1864;       Paid $30 for “rent of room for self for the month of February 1864, at $30 per month.” Winder and McCaw sign. McCaw added “No quarters.” [p. 22]

4/18/1864 4/2/1864;       Paid $30 for “rent of room for self for the month of February 1864, at $30 per month.” Winder and McCaw sign. McCaw added “No qrs.” [p. 20]

5/16/1864 5/7/1864;       Paid $30 for “commutation for rent of room for self for the month of April 1864, at $30 per month.” Winder and McCaw sign. McCaw added “No quarters.” [p. 18]

6/23/1864 6/6/1864;       Paid $30 for “commutation for rent of room for self for the month of May 1864, at $30 per month.” Carrington, Moore, and McCaw sign. McCaw added “No quarters.” [p. 16]

7/20/1864 7/2/1864;       Paid $30 for “commutation for rent of room for self June 1st to June 30th 1864 at $30 per month.” Carrington and McCaw sign. McCaw added “No qrs.” [p. 9]

8/12/1864 8/1/1864;       Paid $30 for “commutation for room rent for the month of uly 1864” T. O. Chestney (A. A. G. for Gen. Ewell), Carrington, and McCaw sign. McCaw added “No quarters.” [p. 14]

9/3/1864 9/1/1864;         Paid $30 for “commutation for rent of room for self for the month of August 1864.” M. D. Cunningham (Surg PACS for Carrington), T. O. Chestney (A. A. G. for Gen. Ewell), and  McCaw sign. McCaw added “No quarters.” [p. 12]

[10/1/1864] 10/1/1864;  unpaid bill for “rent of one room at Richmond Va from Sept. 1st to Sept. 30th 1864 [next line illegible]. McCaw signs, and adds, “no quarters could be furnished.” [p. 7]

12/6/1864 12/1/1864;    Paid $120 for “rent of one Room at Richmond from Sept 1st to Nov. 30th being three months at $40 per month.” McCaw signs and adds “quarters could not be furnished.”      [p.  24]
