From the Richmond Dispatch, 1/16/1863, p. 2, c. 4
ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS REWARD. – I will give the above reward for the apprehension and delivery to Messrs. Dickinson, Hill & Co., in the city of Richmond, of my man Taylor, who absconded from the Chimborazo Hospital, in Richmond, where he had been hired about the 1st January. Taylor is about 20 years old, of medium size, dark, but not black. He is believed to be making off to the Yankees, though he may be still lurking about Richmond, or trying to make his way to the lower part of Middlesex county, where I have a farm, and where his mother lives.
