SKULL FRACTURED. – Yesterday afternoon about 4 o’clock the city ambulance was called to attend a colored man named Samuel Owen, who was injured while working at the Tredegar Works. A twenty-five-pound weight fell upon his head, fracturing the skull and badly injuring his shoulders. He was taken to his home, No. 521 Leigh street. Dr. Chalkley, of the almshouse, attended him.
