From the Richmond Examiner, 1/24/1866, p. 3, c. 4

EVACUATION OF CASTLE THUNDER. – The glory, and gloom, and horreur, which has attached to Castle Thunder and Lightning is about to depart from it. In consequence of the insecurity of the prison, all the male prisoners, white and black, were transferred to the Libby Prison yesterday, and the females will follow so soon as separate quarters can be provided for them. Henceforth Castle Thunder and Lightning will be known by the appellation that distinguished it before the flood – the war, we mean – Greanor’s Tobacco Factory.
