THE ALLEGED OUTRAGES UPON THE DEAD. – At a meeting of the young men of Richmond held at the Mechanics’ Exchange yesterday afternoon the following-named gentlemen were appointed a committee to confer with the ladies’ memorial associations about what steps should be taken in regard to the alleged outrages upon the Confederate dead at Fort Harrison and Malvern Hill: Captain A. G. Babcock, John H. Knowles, W. D. Chesterman, N. F. Young, G. H. Baughman, Captain Griffin, Lieutenant E. J. Levy, Colonel Peyton Wise, Captain C. P. Bigger, and A. M. Garber.
