From the Richmond Dispatch, 5/2/1862, p. 2, c. 3

To be Sent North. – General Winder, as we learn, has issued an order for the sending home, under flag of truce, of all the privates of the Yankee abolition army, have confined as prisoners of war in the Confederate States military prison in Richmond. They will, of course, be paroled not to fight against us until exchanged, and their nice sense of honor will enable them to recognize a sense of obligation till they arrive in Yankee territory, and not longer, as has heretofore been the case. The officers are not included in the list of those to be sent away.
