Man Shot. - A sailor named Fitzpatrick shot a marine named Richardson yesterday evening, between 5 and 6 o’clock, on Main, near 17th street. Both men belonged to the steamer Richmond. The marine had been sent after the sailor, who had left the ship without permission. He found him at H. Beckman's restaurant, and had a dispute, which was renewed on the street, and ended by the sailor drawing a pistol and shooting his comrade. The ball entered just above the nipple of the left breast. The wound was not considered fatal. The perpetrator ran into Beckman's and escaped by the rear, eluding pursuit.
