Sir – We do hereby as the agents for and on behalf of your landlord Hiram Olliver of Henrico County, give you notice and require you to quit and deliver up on the first day of January next 1864, the possession of the ____ or dwelling house with the lot of land connected thereto, which you now hold or claim to hold rented of us as agents for the said Hiram Olliver, situated on Marshall street in the county of Henrico, near to the city of Richmond and should you fail or refuse to deliver up the said house & its appertenances ____ above, at the time ____ed above, 1st of January 1864, you as the agent of the Confederate States or Surgeon in Chief at Chimborazo Hospital will be charged fifteen hundred dollars rent per annum, payable quarterly, dated the 30th day of June 1863
