The Wounded – The Attention Paid Them – At the Fredericksburg depot yesterday morning a sorry spectacle was presented. Several flat cars, laden with wounded soldiers, were there, waiting for ambulances to carry them off. About four citizens were there, distributing some food to the poor fellows, who had been wet through by the terrible rain of the night before, and, lying about in their rags, hardly looked like human beings. Many of them had eaten nothing since early the day before, and were half famished. This state of affairs is shameful, and the Government should, is common humanity, take some steps to have better management.
