BURNED TO DEATH. – Yesterday morning a little four-year-old colored child of William Fleming, who is in the employ of Mr. Robert Kerse, one of the councilmen from Marshall Ward, was burned to death at Chimborazo in a most shocking manner. The mother of the child went to the spring for water at an early hour, and upon her return found, to her horror, that her child in her absence had fallen into the fire and was burned to a crisp. The parents of the child are very worthy and respectable colored persons.
