CHIMBORAZO PARK. – At the meeting of the Council on next Monday evening a petition will be presented from a large number of citizens of Church and Union Hills praying that the city purchase Chimborazo for use as a public park. The petition states that the Chimborazo property can be bought for a nominal amount, and that the city lots on Libby Hill can be sold for a sum largely in excess of this expenditure. We notice the names of many prominent property holders among the signatures.
