From the Richmond Dispatch, 7/18/1867, p. 4, c. 4
LOST. – MY RECEIPT BOOK was dropped from my wagon, or left in some store between Shafer’s garden and Fifth street. The book was in a leather case. The payments on the receipts having been stopped, it will be of no use to any one else. A liberal reward will be paid for it if left at the Dispatch office.
