WINTER QUARTERS. - The frame buildings designed as winter quarters for our troops, which for several weeks past have been in the course of erection at Sydney, in the vicinity of the reservoir, are nearly completed. In a fortnight, at the farthest, it is thought, they will be ready for use, though it is not likely they will be occupied unless our brave troops should sustain some unlooked for reverses. - The buildings are all well-constructed, and, together with those already erected at Rocketts, will comfortable quarter 20,000 men.
