POLICE MATTERS.
Overcoat at Headquarters Awaiting an Owner.

A handsome black overcoat, believed to be stolen, has been recovered by the detectives and can be identified at Police Headquarters. The coat was made by a Baltimore firm.

Henry Dead, a colored man, employed at the Tredegar Works, was arrested yesterday morning by Officer Schlief, on the charge of stealing an overcoat from John Stokes, a fellow-workman. The coat was also recovered. Dean is locked up at the Second Police Station.
