Military Expedients. – Our attention has been called to the fact, that the soldiers who guard the prisons, having no conveniences for warming their quarters, have been compelled to adopt the expedient of building fires in the streets. We should think a better arrangement might be provided for the comfort of the men who are detailed for this tedious duty.
