From the Richmond Dispatch, 11/7/1860, p. 1, c. 5

The State Arms. – We were in error in stating yesterday that Capt. Dimmock had been sent by the Governor to the North to purchase arms. He went to receive and forward 5,000 muskets purchased by the Commissioners. In a few days we shall publish a statement of the arms purchased for the State, those obtained by requisition from the government, and those previously on hand.
