11/4/1864 11/4/1864;     Paid $80 for “rent One (1) Room at Richmond Va from Sept 1, 1864, to Oct 31, 1864, being two (2) months at $40 per month.” McCaw signs and adds, “no quarters could be furnished.” [p. 7]

12/6/1864 12/1/1864;    Paid $40 for “rent of One Room at Richmod Va from Nov 1st to Nov 30th 1864, being one month at $40 per month.” McCaw signs and adds “and that quarters in the Hospital could not be furnished.” [p. 5]
