ALL FOOLS’ DAY. – Saturday (April 1) was “All Fools Day,” but the day passed as, we believe, without much increase in the progeny of fools. People were a little more careful how they caught at nicely folded packages lying in their pathway, thought twice before they went on foolish errands, and refused to answer questions with a “catch” folded up in them. The weather was delightful, smiling and balmy, March having swept itself out in a soaking rain. Now for sunny days and sudden showers, Spring’s alternate smiles and tears.
